Here’s the story…
1. Banks Suck!
There’s nothing like pouring your heart and soul into a business concept, put together a business plan, then take it to the bank for a loan, and they either turn you down or offer you an interest rate so grotesque that they are getting rich off of your back.
2. A New Thought
So, how can we help each other grow rich instead of the banks? It’s called collectivism. We start a multi-member LLC and pool our money to launch the business and pay for the building in cash. In this case it’s a restaurant.
3. Financial Sense
It makes financial sense! Without the high cost of payments in principal and interest to a bank we are literally paying ourselves every quarter healthier dividends. My previous restaurants operated at 50-55% prime costs. If we take the high cost of overhead out of the equation the rest is gravy!
4. The Concept
The restaurant concept has four cuisines under one roof offering delicious food in a quick service environment. In fact, there won’t even be a fryer or a freezer. Just fresh, delicious food served with speed and quality.
5. Quality Management
After decades of total quality management training in the military, then LEAN and Six Sigma training and experience in the civilian sector I designed this concept to be highly efficient to maximize labor while minimizing waste.
6. Win or Lose…We All Profit
The restaurant is the cash cow that will be providing us dividends. But let’s pretend, for whatever reason, it doesn’t make it. We still own the real estate! We can always liquidate the property, which developed property is generally worth more and we get our investment back! It’s a win-win.
So, How Much Are We Talking About?
It’ll take about $3,000,000 to pull this off. Sounds like a lot of money for one person, right? The LLC is offering 100,000 units at only $30 each. That means pretty much anybody can afford to be a part owner of commercial real estate and the restaurant. We’ll each bite off smaller chunks and help each other put money in our pockets rather than giving a bank the whole enchilada.
What do you think so far?
After reviewing various markets that I’ve researched I believe Bartlett, Tennessee (a suburb of Memphis) will be a great location to launch the first location. The traffic count is high, the median incomes are good, and the need for a concept like this is high, as well. Sure, there are some good restaurants around, but not with this much menu diversity, quality of food, and speed of speed of service.
Enough of me yapping about how great I think the opportunity is for anyone involved. At this point, you’ve already made up your mind whether you’re in or not. If you are, please complete the contact form below for more information. Have a great day!
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the funds be needed?
The LLC will officially launch Jan 1, 2025. That’s when people who want to be member partners will receive legal paperwork to join the LLC.
How long before the restaurant is open and ready to make money?
Once we have enough to buy the land and start developing the land the builder said it would take about 6 months to complete before we can start putting equipment in place and go through the inspection process. So, I’m going to say 9 months to a year to be safe.
Why do I have to sign a NDA?
The video presentation explains why, but I’ll say it again. Unscrupulous people with limited brain power or ideas of their own have ripped off my ideas in the past. They had access to money and decided to cut me out. But karma ran over their dogma and without someone like me, the idea’s originator, to run it they failed.
What kind of food will you serve?
There are four cuisines we will be serving. Want to know more? Sign the NDA and send it back to me.
